At Central Plumbing and Heating, we believe in more than just providing top-quality heating solutions, we’re committed to supporting our local community. So, when we had the chance to be part of a special project at Ashby de la Launde Village Hall, we jumped at the opportunity!

A Winning Moment for the Village Hall

Karen from Ashby de la Launde Village Hall entered a Worcester Bosch competition to win a free boiler, and she won! After securing the donation, she reached out to us at Central Plumbing and Heating to handle the installation. We were thrilled to join forces with Worcester Bosch to help upgrade the hall’s heating system, ensuring the space remains warm and welcoming for the whole community.

A Full Heating Upgrade

This wasn’t just a straightforward boiler swap. We removed the old heating system, including outdated tanks and cylinder, and replaced it with the brand-new Worcester Bosch external oil combi boiler. Since the village hall is in the process of building a new kitchen, we installed the new boiler externally to maximise usable space indoors, a practical and efficient solution.

Lower Running Costs & Improved Energy Efficiency

The new Worcester Bosch external oil combi boiler is far more energy-efficient than the previous system, meaning the village hall will benefit from lower energy bills - a huge win for a community-run space that relies on funding and donations. With rising energy costs, having a modern, efficient boiler will make a real difference in reducing running costs, helping the hall direct more funds toward community activities rather than excessive heating bills.
